Yahia Abdeljawad Joined Allied Actuarial Consultancy in 2024 as an Actuarial Analyst.

His main responsibilities include performing actuarial valuations of End of Service Benefit (EoS) obligations in accordance with IAS 19 and relevant local labor laws across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC region, conducting detailed analyses of employee demographic and payroll data to project future liabilities under a variety of economic and demographic scenarios, preparing comprehensive EoS valuation reports, which include key assumptions, sensitivity analyses, and disclosure notes for use in financial statements. Additionally, he serves as the focal point for multiple projects and supports other assignments as directed by the Managing Director.

In addition to developing and maintaining Excel macros and VBA applications to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency, he is also responsible for testing and validating valuation models used in reserving exercises for life insurance, end-of-service benefits, and pension schemes.

Yahia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Jordan, where he graduated in 2024 with a very good GPA.
